Denise Anderson
Denise has been a physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer since 1988. She has degrees in Sports Medicine and physical therapy from the University of Virginia and the Medical College of Virginia, respectively. She specializes in manual therapy and neuro- rehab having completed a post-graduate residency program in Vallejo, Ca. A short seven years after starting her career, she and her husband Steve moved to the Gallatin Valley. Since 1990 Denise has been intimately involved both nationally and internationally with the sport of wheelchair rugby—working at events such as US National Championships, European & Asian Zonal Championships, World Championships, and the 2000 & 2004 Paralympic Games in Sydney, Australia and Athens, Greece. She is passionate about her work as a physical therapist with the goal of helping people attain and focus on their abilities not their limitations. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, Steve and daughters, Brianna and Krista) and friends– enjoying God’s creation in the outdoors– gardening, hiking, skiing, and camping.
